BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - You have plenty of options when it comes to casting your ballot in Kern County on Tuesday, but one new option will put you and your ballot in the fast lane.
The Kern County Elections Office is offering a drive-through ballot drop off for the first time this election.
The drive-through drop-off is located on the corner of N and 21st streets between Rabobank Arena and the election office. All polls, including the drive-through, will be open from 7am until 8pm.
Officials hope this extra convenience will encourage more people to cast their ballots.
According to our local elections office, nearly 100,000 people have already cast their early voter ballots.
