BAKERSFIELD -

Members of the Eagle’s Hall are helping two woman ‘Spook Out Cancer’ during a special fundraising dinner.

The Bakersfield woman are raising money towards a marathon they are participating in for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  The women have hosted fundraisers in the past and this is one of the biggest events they have organized.

Volunteers helped put up Halloween decorations all over the Eagle’s Hall to welcome guests who are all expected to be in their best Halloween costumes.

“Lot and lots of preparing with a lot of help from our parents, our grandparents and friends, family and a lot of stuff still to d,” said Stephanie Salazar of Bakersfield.

Dinner and dancing are all part of tonight’s festivities.  The women hope to raise $2,000 each for the marathon.
