BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Arson investigators are working to determine the cause of an early-morning fire in East Bakersfield.
The fire started just after 3:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at a house in the 800 block of S. Tulare Street. Bakersfield City & Kern County Fire crews both responded to the blaze.
When firefighters arrived, they found the home fully engulfed in flames. Crews managed to extinguish the fire in approximately 30 minutes.
There are no reports of any injuries. Damage is estimated at $250,000.
The home was reportedly abandoned, but neighbors tell 23ABC News they saw a man and a woman running from the house.
