A community meeting will be held Wednesday October 5 to explain the East Porterville Water Supply Project. Eligible residents will have the opportunity to sign-up.
Representatives from the Department of Water Resources, the State Water Resource Control Board, and other government entities and non-profits will explain the project and answer any questions.
The meeting will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. October 5 at the Granite Hills High School cafeteria in Porterville.
Homeowners whose wells went dry during California’s five-year drought are eligible for the project.
The project is being financed by the State of California to end East Porterville’s drought emergency.
