El Tejon school district closed Monday due to heavy snow & ice

Classes have been canceled Monday for students at all three campuses in the El Tejon Unified school district due to snow and ice.
Kern County's southern mountains, including Frazier Park, received heavy snowfall Sunday night and Monday morning.
The California Highway Patrol reported foggy conditions and low visibility over the Grapevine. Despite the heavy snowfall, Interstate 5 remained open during the Monday morning commute.
