On Friday, dozens of people gathered in front of the home of Rosa Garibay, the 41-year-old woman whose body was found yesterday on Highway 33.

Those who knew Garibay say she was loved by many and her family meant the most to her.

Garibay’s niece Stephanie Martinez-Aguilar said Rosa was her favorite aunt and she will miss spending time together.

"How could people do this to my aunt it's not right to be killing or whatever they did to her,” said, Stephanie Martinez-Aguilar, Garibay's niece.

Garibay has two sisters and family says they were very worried about her recently after she spoke about getting a divorce from her husband.

Garibay and her sisters spoke at least 3 times a day and were very close.

Garibay’s husband was arrested Thursday on murder charges.

A GoFundMe account has been set up in Garibay's name; you can view and donate here.
