BAKERSFIELD - Tara the hero cat that saved a boy from a dog attack threw out the first pitch at the Blaze baseball game Tuesday night.
Tara, the cat belonging to the Triantafilos of Bakersfield, reached international fame last Wednesday when a video was released showing the cat chase off a dog that was attacking a boy .
Tara threw the first pitch around 7:15 p.m. with people from all over tuning in for the action.
