CALIENTE, Calif. - A  man was found dead at a residential fire late Wednesday night. 

The call regarding the fire was received by the Kern County Fire Department for a structure fire in  the 8000 block of Caliente Bodfish Road in Caliente, Calif.

Upon arrival, crews were faced with a fully  involved single-wide mobile home fire, which had spread to nearby trees and  vegetation and was threatening 3 other structures.

Neighbors reported to  firefighters that the occupant of the home, 65-year-old William David Salado, was possibly still inside the  involved structure. 

Fire crews made  initial attacks on the mobile home and vegetation fires simultaneously.  Once the fires were extinguished, fire  crews discovered the deceased .

The Kern County  Sheriff Corner was called out to the scene.

At  this time fire investigators are searching through the debris to identify a  possible cause.   There  were no other reported injuries.
