The financial crisis at Kern Medical Center continues, and layoffs could be coming soon, according to CEO Russell Judd.
There are 1,400 employees who work at KMC, and Judd says the potential layoffs could affect any employee at the facility.
Judd told 23ABC he "agonizes over these kinds of decisions."
He also said his employees are not just a number to him, they are people with families and that it is not an easy decision to layoff anyone.
Back in February, county supervisors said the hospital's financial troubles are worse than expected.
