Fire engulfs Bakersfield family's home
Crews said no one was in the home

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A local family is picking up the pieces this morning after flames swept through their Southwest Bakersfield home last night.
On Sunday, Feb. 24, firefighters with the Bakersfield Fire Department went to Sparks Street near Pacheco Road, regarding a house fire.
Officials said the second floor of the home was engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
Crews said no one was in the home at the time.
Arson investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the fire.
