Flooded Kern County roads left stranded motorists, required Search & Rescue air units

Rushing water created dangerous conditions

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Roads flooded in the Tehachapi, Ridgecrest and Seneda areaa Monday night, leaving some motorists stranded, requiring some rescues.

Kern County Search & Rescue said they were going with an air unit to Garlock Road and U.S. 395 to rescue a stranded motorist.

There were reports of officials helping other motorists on Willow Springs Road and Oak Creek Road.
