BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A former CSUB student is suing a fraternity over injuries he said he suffered as a pledge.
Brent McClanahan Jr., filed the suit earlier this week in Los Angeles, against the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
According to the Bakersfield Californian, McClanahan claimed he was beaten several times as a pledge in 2011 and was left partially paralyzed.
Kappa Alpha Psi is not sanctioned by Cal State Bakersfield and had its chapter revoked in 2010.
