Four Alleged Gang Members Arrested For Armed Robbery In Lamont
Stolen Bicycle Leads to Four Gang Arrests

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Five alleged gang members are behind bars on charges of robbery and conspiracy for stealing a bicycle.
Sheriff investigators say the suspects walked up to the victim in San Diego Park in Lamont around 5:45 pm on Sunday night.
Officials say the suspects were armed with a gun and several knives and were heard yelling the name of their gang as they left with the bike.
Deputies found the suspect's car a short time later on Harold Street, and with the help of the Arvin Police Department, arrested the four people inside.
Sergio Contreras, Adrian Avila, Miguel Meza and Luis Posadas were arrested for Robbery, Participation in a criminal street gang, and Conspiracy.
All four suspects were booked into the Central Receiving Facility.
A search warrant was then served at a home on Harold Street, where deputies found a loaded, stolen handgun.
Deputies arrested and booked a male juvenile into the Kern County Probation Department's Juvenile Hall for possession of the stolen handgun.
The bike was found and returned to the owner.
