Four Bakersfield men arrested for grand theft and possestion of stolen property
Men stole $2,500 worth of scrap metal

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Kern County Deputies said they responded to a call that four men were stealing scrap metal from a storage yard in the 100 block of Morning Drive.
On Saturday Feb. 16 around 10:30 p.m., deputies said that an employee saw the men taking the scrap metal and contacted the Sheriff's Office with a vehicle description and the direction the suspects were driving.
Deputies said they found the vehicle in the 200 block of Fairfax Rd. with $2500 worth of stolen scrap metal in a trailer.
Miguel Reyes, age 46, Craig Anaya, age 35, Edward Anaya, age 35 and Jesse Perez, age 36, were arrested for grand theft and possession of stolen property, officials reported.
Deputies said all four men live in the Bakersfield area and were booked into the Central Receiving Facility.
