Four Taft residents arrested for drug sales
Two remain in jail, Two cited and released

TAFT, Calif. - Four residents were arrested last night after deputies said they found evidence of drug sales in their home.
On June 17, 2013 at about 9:00 pm, Taft Substation deputies went to a home on Stevens Street in South Taft to conduct a probation search.
During the search, deputies said they found about a half an ounce of methamphetamine, along with indicia consistent with the sales of controlled substances.
Deputies arrested 43-year-old Alex Vasquez and 44-year-old Gerri Cabella for Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Child Endangerment.
Two other persons in the home were also arrested. They were identified as James Flippen, 31, and Terry Wade, 35.
Flippen was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, while Wade was arrested for possession of narcotics paraphernalia. Vasquez and Cabella were booked into the Taft Police Department’s jail. Flippen and Wade were cited and released .
