Garces Memorial HS honors veterans who died serving the country

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
Garces Memorial High School will honor veterans who are alumni or family members of Garces Memorial students during a lunch time celebration.
During the celebration, the Garces Memorial Alumni Board member, Judge Gary Friedman, will present a plaque honoring Garces alumni who died while in service to their country.
The plaque will be presented to Garces Rector, Monsignor Michael Braun, Garces President, John Fanucchi, and Garces Principal, Kathleen Bears.
Garces Memorial anticipates about 50 veterans to be present and celebrated by the campus for their heroic service to our country.
The celebration will be hosted by the Garces ASB Leadership class and is scheduled to begin at 12:25 p.m. in the school quad.
