BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Geoff Murphy was found guilty on all charges after he shot and killed his elderly father last August.
Police say Murphy shot 74-year-old James Harris during a heated argument at their home on Artist Court in the northwest.
Murphy was also found guilty of making criminal threats against his mother, Barbara Murphy, as well as two counts of elder endangerment.
Murphy faces 52 years in prison and will be sentenced in August.
