GET Bus to replace 31 day passes, youth passes that riders couldn't use due to strike

Starting Tuesday, August 11, Golden Empire Transit (GET) will begin replacing all partially used 31 Day passes and Summer Youth passes that customers were unable to use due to the labor strike. 

To receive replacement pass, customers can bring in person or mail in their partially used pass to GET’s Administration Office located at 1830 Golden State Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, 93301. 

Customers must return their partially used pass in order to receive a replacement pass. 

There are no exceptions.

They should also include their mailing address if they want your new pass mailed. Once service resumes, passes will also be exchanged at the Downtown Transit Center.

All 31 Day Passes that expired during the strike timeframe and all July and August Summer Youth Passes will be replaced with a new 31 Day Pass that will be good when service resumes.

July’s reduced fare monthly stickers will not be replaced at this time.  Those passes are time sensitive and will be replaced with a current month’s sticker in the month that service resumes.  Reduced fare customers must keep their sticker until that time, as they will need it to receive their replacement sticker.
