BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Good news for those out there looking to go into law enforcement; starting tomorrow - the California Highway Patrol is accepting job applications.
The CHP is looking to hire cadets to fill vacant officer positions throughout the state. Minimum qualifications for candidates are:
- Must be 20 - 35 years old.
- U.S. Citizens
- No felony convictions
- Have a high school diploma
Each applicant will have to complete a physical ability test, a written test, background check, medical and vision evaluation, as well as a psychological evaluation.
Applications will only be accepted online during a four-day period starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 and ending Thursday, July 10 at 5 p.m. This will be the first time this year the CHP will be accepting applications.
