Cat has been 40-feet up for 12 days

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Good Samaritans hoped to help the cat that has been stuck in a tree for 12 days Wednesday night.

Two people from M&S Security brought out a cherry picker to try to reach the cat that is 40 feet in the air.  Marvin Fuller, the co-owner, and Mike Caudillo, an employee were on scene.

Tuesday Animal Control and the Kern County Fire Department tried reaching the cat, but scared it higher.
