Graffiti covered house in flames saved by local firefighters

Crews said the home was vacant

OILDALE, Calif. - Investigators are looking into what started a house fire in Oildale.

On Feb. 20, just after midnight, Kern County firefighters were called to a house on Airport Drive, near Good Samaritan Hospital.

Officials said they were able to put out the blaze before the graffiti covered building was destroyed.

Fire crews said the home was found vacant.

There are no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is still unknown this morning.
