Grand opening of the Paramount Citrus Cuties Plant in Delano expected to bring over 500 jobs

DELANO, Calif. - The grand opening of the Paramount Citrus Cuties Plant in Delano was today.
The ribbon-cutting for the citrus facility was on Friday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m.
The new plant will create more than 500 new jobs in the Central Valley area.
Paramount Citrus is the largest grower, shipper and packer of fresh citrus in the United States.
In 2004, the company began shipping its best-selling Clementine mandarins under its California Cuties brand. After such a high demand for the product, the company invested millions of dollars on the new processing plant.
