BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The tragic death of the 9-year-old girl who died from the flu can be traumatizing for classmates.
With that in mind grief counselors were at Columbia Elementary on Friday Jan. 25. They will also be there Monday and throughout the rest of the week if there are any children who need to talk.
The health department spoke about the critical need for counselors during tough times.
The school district administrators plan to clean the classrooms and already have a program in place.
