Hail is to blame for two wrecks on Highway 58
Witnesses said crashes happened seconds apart

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
Witnesses told 23 ABC News that hail caused two different crashes on Highway 58 and Tower Line Road Friday afternoon.
23 ABC News spoke with one person who saw one of the wrecks happen.
"We were driving down and just saw the RV down there. It stopped in the middle of the road and the driver of the mustang tried to slow down, but he couldn't slow down because it was all icy and he just slid into the RV,” said Anthony Chavaria of Tehachapi.
There were no major injuries reported.
