BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Wednesday locals will have the opportunity to learn how to eat healthier when it comes to Hispanic food.
The Healthy Families Expo is being hosted by Western Pacific Research from 4pm-8pm at the Downtowner Expo Event Center, located at 1227 Chester Avenue.
The healthier living event is $5 for adults and children 12 and under are free. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the American Heart Association.
Organizers say more than a dozen vendors will be on hand to talk about tasty healthy Hispanic food options.
