LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. - Highway 178 is open again at Yankee Canyon Drive eastbound and Mobile Drive westbound near Paradise Cove in the Lake Isabella area.
A two-vehicle head-on collision caused the closure at about 1:26 p.m. Tuesday.
The two drivers were killed.
One driver was a 48-year-old woman from Bakersfield. The other was a 65-year-old man from Arizona.
Drivers were asked to stray clear of this route while cleanup efforts were underway.
