BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A single-car accident caused delays on Highway 178 under the Beale overpass Monday morning.
The car was traveling westbound and tried to move from the right lane to the next lane. After seeing a car already in the lane, the car overcorrected and went up the embankment.
The car went airborne, struck a tree and landed on the freeway.
The car was carrying two people. One person received a broken leg and the other had minor injuries.
