Holiday wreath-laying event to honor veterans in Arvin

ARVIN, Calif. - The Bakersfield National Cemetery will host 'Wreaths Across America', a holiday wreath laying ceremony to honor and remember our nation's veterans.
The Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary Club and Bakersfield National Cemetery Support Committee are coordinating the event to honor Veterans of each branch of the military, the Merchant Marine as well as Prisoners of War and those still Missing in Action.
The wreath laying ceremony will start at 8:50 a.m., on Dec. 15., with a moment of silence at 9 a.m.
The cemetery is located at 30338 East Bear Mtn. Blvd., in Arvin.
