BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
A Bakersfield Halloween carnival and costume party for children was held at the Bakersfield Homeless Center on Saturday.
This carnival featured a haunted warehouse sponsored by Chevron XYZ Club.
The event will also featured carnival booths such as cakewalk, bean bag tosses, colored hairspray and candy.
The BHC has provided year-round emergency shelter, food, clothing and supportive services for over 20 years. Each night the BHC provides shelter to over 150 people, over half of which are children.
