BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A woman from Bakersfield, obsessed with Australian actor Hugh Jackman, was handed a sentenced Monday.
Katherine Thurston, 47, was accused of stalking Jackman and his family. In 2013 she approached Jackman at a gym in New York and threw an electric razor filled with pubic hair at him.
Thurston spent six months behind bars and was sentenced to five years probation Monday.
Thurston was also ordered to stay away from Jackman and his family for eight years and seek mental health treatment, according to Australian Associated Press.
Thurston planned to fly back to California Tuesday.
