BAKERSFIELD - A group of volunteers is helping bring additional resources into Kern County for people living with Alzheimer's.
Today, hundreds of people walked to end the disease. The event not only raised money for research but it helped educate the community about the disease. The group is helping support local caregivers who work to care for their loved ones.
Organizers hope to raise more than $30,000 this year.
