I-5 lanes closed in northern LA due to flooding, possible muslide

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The I-5 between Glenoaks Boulevard and Sunland Boulevard in northern Los Angeles is restricted due to flooding, according to California Highway Patrol reports.

Northbound and southbound traffic is flowing in two lanes.

ABC7 reports a mudslide on the northbound side as well as a flooding drainage ditch. Caltrans said the mudslide is not rain related.

CHP said they will work until the debris is removed, but the southbound lane may be compromised until 11 p.m., according to ABC7.
