BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - An illegal immigrant who claimed he killed his girlfriend in self-defense has been found guilty of second-degree murder.
Arturo Huerta attacked and killed Acamea Coy Back in April 2011.
Coy was found dead in her apartment and Huerta was nearby covered in blood.
Prosecutors said he stabbed her with broken glass.
He now faces 16-years to life in prison.
