Independence High School in Bakersfield wins free Carly Rae Jepsen concert
Performance will be during both lunches

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - And the winner of the Carly Rae Jepsen concert has been announced.
Independence High School in Bakersfield is the winner of the free show. Jepsen, the performer of 'Call Me Maybe', will perform in both lunches today.
The concert was a promotion sponsored by radio Kelly 95.3. The school that won the most votes by 4 p.m. Friday at the station's website was the one to win the contest.
Tickets to see the singer inside the Dignity Health Studios at The Bakersfield Californian were also up for grabs.
Jepsen will perform three songs, sign autographs and be interviewed by 93.1 disc jockey Andrew Cabarcungan, aka Drewski, during the hourlong appearance, which starts at 6 p.m., tonight.
Jepsen's concert and meet-and-greet appearance is sponsored by local radio station Hits 93.1, in partnership with The Californian.
