BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Independent Living Center of Kern County is holding a free education day.

It takes place Wednesday, January 23rd, from 2-5 p.m., at the Living Center located at 5251 Office Park Drive 200.

Local universities, colleges and Bakersfield Adult School will be on hand for people with disabilities to explore education opportunities.

The Center's adaptive assistive technology computer lab will also be available, so people with disabilities, including youth, can experience available adaptive computers, software and other tools to help further one's education or attain employment.
