Inmate escapes Wasco State Prison

WASCO, Calif. - Local law enforcement agencies are searching for an inmate who escaped from the Wasco State Prison Reception Center at 8:00 a.m. Saturday. The WSP-RC is a minimum support facility.

The inmate has been identified as 42-year-old Michael Howard Devlin. He's described as a whit male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 140 pounds, medium build, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a goatee.

Devlin was serving a five year sentence for possession of a controlled substance and carrying a concealed dagger.

Anyone with information is being asked to call 911 immediately.
