BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - John C. Reilly visited the Alley Cat bar in downtown Bakersfield while filming his upcoming movie "Entertainment."
The synopsis of "Entertainment," according to IMDB is: "En route to meet his estranged daughter and attempt to revive his dwindling career, a broken, aging comedian plays a string of dead end shows in the Mojave desert."
The photos were taken by Ryan Hodson, an Alley Cat bartender.
Reilly was also in town with Michael Cera.
A bartender said they didn't get much heads up today.
The production crew just showed up.
Locals at the bar were used as extras and then they got a chance to hang out with Reilly -- who's known for his roles in Talladega Nights, the musical *Chicago* -- and the upcoming *Guardians of the Galaxy* which hits theaters next month.
