BAKERSFIELD - A man accused of a deadly drunken driving accident was in court Tuesday.
Joseph Haskell Maine's bond was raised $2 million, and he is still in jail.
Maine was drunk behind the wheel when he slammed his truck in to a car, and killed Vanessa Carrillo, a passenger in another car in January, police say.
Carrillo was seven months pregnant.
Maine is charged with half a dozen DUI related felonies, along with a misdemeanor count of vehicular manslaughter.
