Juvenile accused of buglarizing homes in Lamont area
Stolen property was seized with search warrant

LAMONT, Calif. - Deputies reportedly found stolen property during a search warrant and arrested a juvenile for burglary last night.
On June 27, deputies from the Lamont substation responded to two separate burglary investigations within one block of each other.
Deputies said the burglaries were committed within a one hour timeframe.
Anonymous witnesses told deputies they saw the suspects enter a home in the 10200 block of Elmco through a window, remove property from the home and flee to a house in the 8300 block of Gail Marie Avenue.
According to reports, an additional burglary victim came forth, from an additional home in the 8300 block of Gail Marie.
Further investigation led to the identification of juvenile offenders who committed the burglaries.
Lamont deputies obtained a search warrant and, with the assistance of the sheriff’s Gang Suppression Section, served the warrant at a home in the 8300 block of Gail Marie Avenue.
During the service of the search warrant, stolen property belonging to the victims of both burglaries was recovered and returned to them. Evidence of gang related paraphernalia was also located and documented.
A juvenile offender was arrested for burglary and booked at Juvenile Hall.
