BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Around 11:35 a.m. Thursday, the Kern County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a three-year-old and eight-month-old that were left alone at a home in the 1,000 block of Water Street.
When deputies arrived, they said they located the children at the home without adult supervision.
After investigating, deputies said they arrested 28-year-old Johnny Dontrell Blinks and 23-year-old Amanda Nicole Hargis for child endangerment.
Deputies said the children were left in the temporary custody of a family member.
