An alleged sexual assault at the Jamison Center is under investigation.
23ABC spoke with KCSD detectives who said a 5-year-old resident at the center was molested by two teen boys, a 13 and 14 year old, both also residents of the Jamison Center.
The two suspects were arrested for lewd acts with a child, oral copulation with a victim under 14 years of age, and false imprisonment, officials said.
The sheriff’s department won't release any more information because the little boy is a victim of sexual assault and the suspects are both minors.
23ABC reached out to center for comment on this case.
A spokesperson would not comment specifically on this case but they did say there are three ongoing investigations: internally, through law enforcement, and on the state level.
