KCSO arrests 2 for stolen vehicles, property

Kern County Sheriff officials released the following statement:

On October 2, 2015, deputies from the Rosamond Substation went to the 4700 block of Brabham Avenue on tip from the public, regarding the location of stolen vehicles. 

While at the residence deputies found a stolen vehicle and saw what appeared to be stolen property. 

Deputies obtained a search warrant for the property and located a total of 7 confirmed stolen vehicles and numerous other stolen items including several firearms. 

Deputies arrested Richard Whempner (53) for 2 counts of felon in possession of firearms and Jeffrey Bradley (34) on several charges including: felon in possession of firearms, possession of stolen vehicles, possession of stolen property, and possession of a controlled substance.   

Both suspects were booked into CRF.  The vehicles and most of the property were returned to the owners.

The firearms were booked into the property room.
