CitiBank robbery in northeast Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Police went to a Citibank in northeast Bakersfield area regarding a robbery on Monday afternoon.

On March 4, at about 2:59 p.m., officers went to the bank near the Oswell and Bernard intersection regarding a robbery.

The suspect is a Hispanic male in his mid-20's and is about six feet tall. He was dressed as a female when he walked into the bank and handed a teller a note demanding currency. After he obtained the currency, he fled the scene by foot.

No injuries have been reported.
