BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Three people were arrested on a number of different charges after Kern County Sheriffs Office deputies performed a search warrant in South Bakersfield on Friday.
On May 30, 2014 at approximately 6:00 p.m., deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office Gang Suppression Section executed a search warrant at 620 Terrace Way.
At the residence, deputies found 53-year-old Mitchell Vastbinder, 47-year-old Frank Rodriguez Jr. and 38-year-old Kimberly Taylor.
During a search of the residence, deputies located 16 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of heroin, almost $4,000.00 in U.S. currency, surveillance equipment and paraphernalia associated with the sale of controlled substances.
Vastbinder was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sale and maintaining a residence for the purpose of selling narcotics.
Rodriguez was arrested on active warrant for violating the terms of his Post Release Community Supervision, and Taylor was arrested for possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All three subjects were booked into the Kern County Jail.
