SOUTH LAKE, Calif. - Members of the Kern County Sheriff's Office Kern Valley Substation, Special Enforcement Group, Air Support and the Kern County Bomb Squad investigated the report of an explosion Friday.
After their investigation they executed a search warrant for 25-year-old Isaiah Stead from South Lake, Calif.
Officers say Stead was arrested for an outstanding no bail felony warrant for possession of an explosive device, possession of narcotics and possession of a stolen vehicle.
During the search of the property, deputies said they located and seized marijuana and a sawed off .22 caliber rifle.
Stead is being held in the Kern County Central Receiving Facility without bail.
