DELANO, Calif. - A Delano teenager died early this morning after losing control of his car and striking a pole, the Kern County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
The KCSO reports that Javier Obregon Jr., 19, was driving a vehicle at the intersection of Browning Road and Garces Highway when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a pole.
Obregon was taken to Delano Regional Medical Center where he later died from the injuries of the crash.
The Delano Police Department is still investigating this incident.
