KEENE, Calif. - Preparations are continuing for President Obama’s visit to Keene on Monday. Mr. Obama will be in town to establish a Cesar E. Chavez National Monument.
So many people want to attend the event the organizers had to shut down the online sign up. The UFW wanted a crowd of about 7,000 but they say more than 10,000 people have already signed up.
Organizers of the visit say people should only go to the event if you received an email confirmation of your tickets.
