BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A game of pool could help change the lives of children living with autism in Kern County.
The Kern Autism Network was at Corner Pocket holding a 9 ball double elimination pool tournament.
The tournament will raise money for the network as well as raise awareness of autism in Kern County.
"We actually do quite a bit. We provide an annual conference, workshops to help families and caretakers with their children or with those that they work with. We also have support groups. We have many different activities, one of our big things is Lego, we have a Lego workshop that we've created," said Ramona Puget, president of Kern Autism Network.
The event had money prizes as well as raffles for those who participated.
