Over 80,000 Californians without jobs are now without unemployment benefits.
This is all due to a computer glitch at the Employment Development Department after the company upgraded their 30 year old software.
The problem with the software took place around Labor Day causing a massive backlog of unemployment claims.
"I call them two to three times per day, I have emailed them, I've received no response," said Beverly Durrett of Bakersfield.
Beverly lost her job back in august.. and immediately filed a claim to get unemployment benefits with the EDD. She received an award letter from them right away, granting her $324 a week.
It's been nearly two months and Beverly still has not seen any money.
"It's just totally frustrating because I get calls from my creditors and I tell them I'm waiting on my check."
Beverly is not the only one to not get paid. On Thursday morning, we asked 23ABC viewers on our Facebook page to let us know if they aren't getting unemployment benefits promised by the EDD, and we've gotten nearly 40 responses.
