Kern County American Red Cross Volunteer deploying to San Francisco, CA

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A Bakersfield area Red Cross volunteer will make her way to San Francisco and help the victims of the plane crash that occurred this weekend.

Local volunteer, Louise Kolar, will deploy from the Kern Chapter, Thursday, July 11, at about 12 p.m.

The community is invited to help with the send off as she begins the journey to San Francisco, CA to assist in Health Services for the plane crash occurring on July 6th.

All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.  Help the victims of Disasters by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Kern Chapter, which enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need.
